Sipradian Sahayata Sanstha (SSS) is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political social organization in existence since 2012. SSS in collaboration with Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (Tata Trusts), India is undertaking various interventions to reclaim, post 2015 earthquake infrastructure in selective villages at Sindhupalchowk including construction of earthquake resistant school buildings, primary health posts and programs targeted to educate school children and village community including Behavior Change Communication/Information Education and Communication (BCC/IEC). The project builds upon the basics – Better education, hygiene, sanitation and water security and links directly to the Tata Trusts’ vision of clean drinking water and improved health for all.

Job Specification 
Education Level: Bachelor Experience Required: More than or equals to 3 years
Other Specification
• Bachelor degree in social science or related field
•3 years of experience in awareness campaign and BCC/IEC on the Drinking Water, Sanitation , Hygiene (WaSH)
• Computer efficiency including MS Office tools
 • Well versed in Nepali, Hindi & English Language, report writing and documentation skills

 Job Description
 • Field Officer (WaSH) will be assisted by Project Manager (WaSH), towards effective roll out of BCC/IEC plans in selected villages of Sindhupalchowk district
 • Work closely with Project Manager (WaSH), develop a work plan for all BCC/IEC activities towards the program and implement in the selected schools
• Provide assistance to schools/committees/students groups towards effective roll out of plan
• Assist Project Manager (WaSH), in coordination with the grass root level, school level, block level and District level government officials of line departments, as required by the programme
• Work closely with child clubs in re-strengthening the required bodies
• Coordinate and build up linkages and networks with the appropriate local government agencies/ training centers/ service delivery offices and other organizations, as required
 • Assist in development of publications, documents and communication materials related to the program
• Assist in identifying institutions, experts, cultural troops, trainers, service providers as required and involve them for capacity & knowledge enhancement of program partners, program staff, beneficiaries and various committees ________________________________________
